Adventure Tours Isla Mujeres was founded by two great friends in 2020 Patrick n Vladimir. These two friends first met on Isla Mujeres over 9 years ago while diving together. They started talking over dinner one night about how they would run a dive operation that would be better than any they had dove with before. That one dinner discussion led to them designing a company that provides the highest standards of service possible. They took the things they had liked about other companies and incorporated them into this company, while avoiding the things they didn’t about other companies. Their ultimate goal is for customers to have the best experience ever.
Patrick is originally from Houston, Texas, U.S.A. He has been diving since 1989 and has logged over 5000 dives. He is a Master Instructor with the ability to teach all levels of diving as well as 42 SCUBA specialty courses. Patrick is a certified Gas Blender and he holds dozens of certifications from SSI, PADI, SDI/TDI and many other certifying agencies. Patrick also has a Captain’s license to operate commercial vessels.
Vladimir is originally from Mexico City, Mexico. He has been diving since 2008 and has logged over 4000 dives. He holds certifications from PADI, SDI/TDI and other certifying agencies.
These gentlemen both have a passion for diving as well as protecting the environment. Adventure Tours Isla Mujeres (ATIM) helps the local Reef Preservation Society rebuild the coral reefs. When we developed our business model, we wanted every single one of our clients to enjoy themselves while doing their favorite activities safely and while having as low an impact on the natural environment as possible. We strive to leave the marine environment in better condition than we found it when we arrived. Our company is consistently removing trash from the water. When you are on our tours, feel free to assist with the cleanup effort. We always have designated trash and recycling collection bins onboard. Your assistance in keeping our world’s oceans cleaner and in a closer to pristine condition.
Our boats are some of the fastest on Isla Mujeres. We will get you out to and back from your tour location quickly, safely and in comfort. The larger size of our boats reduces the amount of motion felt on the ocean. Our boat Miramar I is 10.14m (33.26ft) long and 3.75m (12.3ft) wide and is equipped with twin 225hp engines. You will have plenty of room to spread out and stow your gear. Our boats are all equipped with top of the line Radar, Global Positioning Systems - GPS/Chart Plotters/Depth & Fish Finders/Marine Radios. They also are equipped with Bluetooth Stereos to play your favorite music during your tour. We have WIFI available on all of our boats so you can connect with all of your social media during your tour.
We take your safety very seriously… All of our Captains & First Mates are federally licensed. Our Divemasters and Instructors are highly trained and are certified in first aid and CPR. We carry life safety equipment onboard our vessels. Should the need arise, everyone onboard has their own life vest with signaling devices attached and we carry emergency Marine radios on all of our vessels. All of our boats have emergency oxygen onboard as well. There is absolutely NO SMOKING or glass containers allowed onboard our vessels for everyone’s safety...
