Whale Shark Tour

Imagine swimming with a 33 foot long animal? Whale sharks, the world's largest fish, come to visit Isla Mujeres every year during their migration. They are absolutely harmless to humans. You'll be able to swim in the warm waters of the Southern Gulf of Mexico alongside these gentle giants in their natural habitat. You may also see turtles, giant manta rays, dolphins and/or several other species during your tour.

— This tour will provide you with memories you will continually cherish for the rest of your life.

We meet at Playa Centro in Downtown Isla Mujeres at 6:50 a.m. / 8:50 a.m. or in Punta Sam Cancún at 07:00 / 09:00 a.m. We have a small briefing then we go on our boat to start our journey to find the whale sharks. The trip will take us between one and two hours and we may find different species on our way (if we see a giant manta and its behavior permits it, we can also swim with this harmless creature). Once in the area, we will swim by the whale shark in groups of two plus the guide to ensure a safe and unique experience.

On our way back, we will stop near Isla Mujeres to snorkel the Yunque reef and maybe see sea turtles, lobsters and different reef fish. Finally, we will go to Playa Norte, where we can stretch our legs, have a pleasant swim and enjoy your lunch.
